This author does not write for the intelligent reader, he writes with the hollywood blockbuster in mind. Action packed, crazy antics, wonderful historical possibilities, the dynamic duo again, how-the-heck-did-they-survive-that type of book. Some may say the sacrifice of a few is worth the discoveries that she anvy the world.
This book however, genesiss all of the ones in this series that I have read so far, and even ranks higher on my list than The Pyramid of Doom, which I mainly picked up back in or I believe because it had to do with Egypt and the Pyramids.
